Though AMD's latest "Alpha" core CPU doen't look that different then it's predisessors but it's Barton core gives it the necessary horsepower to be directly in competition with Intel's P4 3.20 GHz. For the power crazy amoungst us, the overclockability of this CPU could potentially make it a Athlon XP 3600+ with all the right stuff.
