Xara 3D and other Xara products are the easiest ways I've ever seen to do lite 3D work

After you make and are happy with each 3D style word or phrase, right mouse click on the image and "Save picture as" to a folder on your hard drive that you'll remember. Then use "Irfanview" with it's very nice set of plugins to convert the image to either JPG or GIF format.

Basically JPG is for photos or any image with more than 256 colors and GIF is typically for graphics or B/W images. With larger sized images JPG is often time the best way to go simply because the end size of the image will be smaller while still being better quality.

The file format that Xara 3D Web app. produces is PNG which is similar to JPG and easily converted.  Enjoy!
